Memory - Season Postcard
Concept:
Each month holds countless fleeting moments — some are beautiful, some are bittersweet, and some are simply mundane. I collected the photos I took every month, layering them into abstract postcards that capture not just the visuals, but the emotions, atmosphere and stories behind those months. This project is both a visual diary and a reflection on how memories accumulate and blur over time. The overlapping images mirror how moments, feelings and even people fade and blend into each other as time passes.
Objective:
Create a visual archive of personal memories, beyond traditional photography.
Explore the beauty of imperfect, layered storytelling.
Transform ephemeral snapshots into tangible, emotional objects — postcards to my future self.
Process:
Monthly photo collection and curation.
Experimenting with layering techniques to compress time into a single visual piece.
Balancing abstraction and recognisable elements to evoke curiosity and emotion.
Outcome:
These postcards are more than just images — they are fragments of time, a record of how each month shaped me,
captured in layers that invite viewers to pause and uncover the stories hidden within.
